WordPress 2.1 is released

The latest major update to WordPress has just been released and I have upgraded to it. Not this blog (yet) but a new one I am starting. More details soon. I felt that since I had only written a few drafts for that site, I may as well upgrade to test out the latest and greatest.

If no major disasters occur I will probably upgrade the rest of my sites that don’t depend on plug-ins that are incompatible with 2.1 (which might include WP-QDIG).

    Michael,
I will try to get WP-QDIG working under 2.1 but I don’t have high hopes. I think for this site I will probably move over to flickr based plug-ins.

Here’s hoping that WP2.2 will have a basic gallery built-in…

    Shay,
I’ll shoot you an email on the pre-launch of the blog if you are interested. WP2.1 hasn’t been too different from 2.0 but I think auto draft-saving is great.
