The Tipping Point & Blink
Just finished reading The Tipping Point and Blink both by Malcom Gladwell. I have to agree with a lot of people including Justin who lent me the books, that the earlier book The Tipping Point is the better of the two.
Blink is a good read, but The Tipping Point is a lot more cohesive, and makes much more compelling arguments to support its theories. Blink just wasn’t as convincing and by the end I felt there was a sense of the book being rushed to completion by the need to cash in on The Tipping Point’s popularity at the time.
Both are worth a read but if you had to choose just one, go with The Tipping Point. Malcolm Gladwell also has a blog and writes great articles for the New Yorker
