We had a great night out at the Z-Bar where we saw Neil Keegan with his band. I was the second time I saw Neil play, the last time was ages ago. Last time it was just himself and the bass player, this time he had a drummer as well. Excellent performance, even better than I remembered.

Rie mentioned that the contrast of style with some of her friends who are also part of a band. She said that with her friends they always seem to be under a lot of pressure, whereas with Neil and his band they were in the zone and were just enjoying playing.

Neil Keegan and his band plays every 3rd Sunday and here’s some details and a map to the Z-Bar in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. On live music days it’s 1,500 Yen in, with a free drink.
