I spent 10 days in Hong Kong but it seemed over in a flash. I didn’t get much done, I didn’t take many photos even though I had lugged most of my camera equipment there and back. But the ones that I did take have the most value and meaning to me. Most of the photos I took are of the old friends I met. I missed meeting a few but apart from visiting the graves of my parents at Chung Yeung, it was the most important reason for the trip to Hong Kong. It was nice to see that most of my friends were doing ok, even though times are hard in Hong Kong at the moment. I always feel that I am lucky to have the friends that I do, they are some of the most genuine, warm, kind and helpful people. Meeting them also reminded me that part of my personal mission is to be in the position to help my friends and family if need be. And so I should be working extra hard to try to get that job I desire.
I also visited Macau and met some of Rie’s friends. It was nice to meet them and I hope to meet them again soon. But as for the idea of moving to Macau…
Since I have been back I have been busy trying to organise moving to the new apartment. It is a major pain in the backside. Hopefully everything will be completed by next week. (fingers crossed)
