In search of a perfect photo gallery for WordPress (again)
When my site wasn’t a blog I had all my photos in a photo gallery script called Gallery. It is a mighty fine script but when I moved over to WordPress I wanted something that integrated well and could survive design changes. Gallery unfortunately uses a stack of tables to do its layout so would break WordPress’s layout.
Also it doesn’t integrate well. As I approached the launch date of the new design I tried out so many different photo/image gallery scripts and plugins and finally settled for Simple PHP Gallery. But it isn’t a perfect fit. So 7 months down the line I am looking over the possibilities of replacing it again with something different. This time I think that Qdig and the Qdig WordPress plugin might be a right fit. I think the plugin didn’t exist when I last looked at QDig.
