My current system is starting to show its age so before it totally falls apart, I am building a replacement system. It’s going to be a quad-core system with 8GB of ram so that it has a chance to last 5 years or so my current system has.

For anyone thinking of buying a Sanyo Xacti DMX-65, you should know that the software bundled with it is incompatible with older AMD processors. And possibly very old Intel processors. The software is Ulead’s MovieWriter 5 SE for Sanyo and is used to create DVDs from your videos.

I never knew that ABS Plastic was a conductor until I had a tour of a sign maker’s factory where they plated signs made from ABS Plastic. Not a very useful fact, but pretty interesting at least for me.
