Bought an Intel Mac Mini
Finally bought a Mac Mini last Friday. I was weighing up whether to buy a second hand G4 mini or one of the new Intel powered minis. I only really need the mini to test out some sites under Mac OSX so a G4 would have enough horsepower. But I ended up buying a new Intel powered one because the price difference between a second hand G4 and a new one was pretty minimal. Also the new developments of Boot Camp and Parallels mean that there is a possibility that an Intel powered Mac could power all my computing needs.
It’s small, it’s neat, it’s got teh snappy and as a bonus I get to use skedit again.
A one year subscription to .mac was thrown in free but I’m not going to use it so if anyone is interested, I’m selling it unopened and cheap ($30). It is the English version and you can use it to extend your existing subscription if you have one.
