I visited the Okinawa International Univeristy earlier in the day. I participated in a talk to some freshers who are learning English. Experienced a couple of ‘firsts’ this morning. One was the first typhoon experience in Japan which wasn’t that bad as the centre didn’t hit Okinawa. The other was Cheesecake flavoured cornflakes! I was a little apprehensive but actually they taste good!

It seems that a typhoon might be coming round to Okinawa. It is expected to arrive sometime late tonight. It is a big one (in radius) so it already is extremely windy outside. It isn’t my first experience of a typhoon but Okinawa is a lot more exposed than Hong Kong is so the effects [...]
